Dr. Donna deVillier DNP, MN, PMHNP-BC, RPT-S

Dr. Donna de Villier is a psychiatric advanced practice nurse specializing in working with adults, adolescents and children providing psychiatric diagnostic evaluations with or without medication management, medication management, crisis interventions, individual, couples and family therapy and specializes in cognitive behavioral and play therapy and maintains a private practice in Stone Ridge, VA.

With over 25 years experience as an psychiatric advanced practice nurse, and as a graduate of Brandman University as a Doctorate of Nursing Practice she specializied in a variety of therapuetic modalities like interpersonal interactive therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. Dr. de Villier has been licenced by the Association of Play Therapy as a Registered Play Therapist- Supervisor to provide play therapy and supervise therapist in becoming play therapist. She is currently serving as private practitioner working with a broad spectrum of patients. Among her areas of expertise are assessment, diagnosis, functional assessments, behavioral plan dvelopment and collaborating with the public school system to get your childs special needs meet with in the educational system.
